The Beidouxing Industrial Chemistry Research Institute in Haidian District, Beijing, has gone through 30 years of development. It has been successfully used in on-site rapid detection and online monitoring of materials such as crude oil, heavy oil, light oil, aviation gasoline, alcohol concentration, ethylene glycol, coal tar, caprolactam, n-butanol, dimethyl silicone oil, dispersants, tripropylene glycol, ethanol, acetic acid, acrylic acid, ethyl acetate, methanol, alum solution, ammonium tungstate, sodium molybdate, ammonium molybdate, castor oil, pigments, coatings, inks, paints, emulsions, brake fluids, antifreeze, etc. The MS1204 microwave attenuation method moisture testing technology has been widely used in oilfield production measurement for nearly ten years in Yanchang Oilfield, Shengli Oilfield, Dagang Oilfield, Huabei Oilfield, and Liaohe Oilfield. It has successfully obtained the "China National Petroleum Corporation Material Supplier Access Certificate" and has become an essential instrument for automated detection and measurement of oil production and transportation in oilfields. MS1204 microwave attenuation method moisture testing technology is applied in the online monitoring and transformation of production lines and processes in industries such as traditional Chinese medicine preparations, biological preparations, coal mines, chemical reagents, petroleum refining, tungsten industry, ceramics, high-performance water reducers, and food processing. The successful application of MS1204 microwave attenuation method in over a thousand production process monitoring points and laboratories over the past twenty years has made the moisture testing technology more mature and stable, providing metrological testing support for the demand for automation control in industrial upgrading. In the field of gas analyzer research and development, scientists from Beidou have integrated all practical, economical, and reliable gas sensors in the world by studying different gas detection and sensing technologies. They have successfully developed the first domestic 19 parameter composite gas analyzer, pAir2000-EFF series portable environmental odor pollutant analyzer, comprehensive gas analyzer, and other composite instruments. These instruments have been successfully applied in user sites for ten years and have been used in industrial enterprises and testing departments such as China Petroleum Jinxi Refinery and Chemical Plant, Ningbo Asia Pulp and Paper Industry, China National Pharmaceutical Group Chemical Reagent Co., Ltd., China Civil Aviation University, Harbin Institute of Technology, Southeast University, etc. They have been designated by users as specified instruments. With the development of the natural gas/liquefied gas/coal gas industry, calorific value has become an important detection indicator, and simple, practical, and fast analysis has become a trend to replace volumetric flow measurement. The Beidou Star PGas2000-NGA gas calorific value analyzer, developed in 2005, has played an economic role in the production, trading, and use of the gas industry chain for more than ten years. With the development of water quality analysis instruments, miniaturization, simplification, rapid detection, and low cost have gradually become popular among users. The water quality analyzer of Beidou Star has been put into research and development since 2000. Compared with the advantages and disadvantages of existing technologies in domestic and foreign detection principles, a complete and mature high reliability ultraviolet dual beam optical system design has been developed and applied to the water quality total organic matter WQA4812-TOC analyzer, chemical oxygen demand WQA4812-COD analyzer, water oil content WQA4812-OIL analyzer, portable organic matter multi parameter analyzer H-BD5-CBT (COD chemical oxygen demand, BOD biochemical oxygen demand, TOC total organic carbon). Beidou Star's water quality analyzer, with its no sampling, no sample preparation, and miniaturized structural design, has gradually shown improvement. Portable, fast, and accurate performance for field use. In 2009, commissioned by the China Petroleum Pipeline Bureau, I developed a water oil leakage alarm system for the pipeline bureau to prevent oil leakage hazards during oil transportation and reduce energy costs. The system has been applied to multiple process monitoring points in multiple regions and has undergone years of testing. Currently, it is still operating normally. In order to cooperate with the national surface water source quality monitoring project, we have developed an integrated multi parameter monitoring instrument for surface water COD, which highlights the practical characteristics of no consumables, easy maintenance, and low power consumption in field monitoring. It has been applied to the monitoring of multiple water source points in national key monitoring points such as Zhangze Reservoir in Shanxi, Gushan Reservoir in Shanxi, Houhe Reservoir in Shanxi, Chengdu in Sichuan, and Beijing. In the early 2000s, during the period when activity meters dominated the foreign market, Beidou Star began to develop the H-BD5-MS2100aw water activity tester. In 2012, in order to promote the application of activity detection concepts in the grain industry and provide a "standard" for grain and oil inspection, the National Grain Administration Scientific Research Institute cooperated with our unit to carry out research and development of the national standard "Determination of Grain Water Activity in Grain and Oil Inspection". The water activity meter has witnessed the development and improvement of the concept of "water activity" in China's industry testing regulations, from its initial university research and joint venture procurement to its current popularity in the grain and food industries. Beidou Star's environmental odor gas analyzer, refrigerant gas monitoring, alcohol concentration analyzer, sulfur hexafluoride gas detection, VOC gas detection, ammonia detection, oxygen detection, calorific value analyzer, sulfuryl fluoride gas detection, moisture detector, UV chemical oxygen demand COD online automatic monitoring instrument, water oil online monitoring instrument, caprolactam concentration detector, calorific value analyzer, water quality analyzer, water activity meter, online dust analyzer and other product series have been designated by many users as specified equipment. Our rich on-site experience has enabled our instruments to solve multiple detection problems for the industry, and we have participated in multiple research institutes and national research projects in chemical engineering. The instruments "Moisture Tester", "Online Water Oil Tester", "Toxic and Harmful Gas Monitor", and "Dust Tester" that have obtained the "Explosion proof Certificate" since 2010. The instruments that have obtained the "Type Approval Certificate for Measuring Instruments" since 2011 include the "UV Chemical Oxygen Demand COD Online Automatic Monitor", "Hydrogen Sulfide Gas Alarm", and "Ammonia Nitrogen Water Quality Automatic Analyzer". Thirty years of instrument suppliers, thirty years of technological accumulation, thirty years of brave exploration, and diligent work have witnessed the reality of thousands of users that Beidou instruments not only sell products, but also provide comprehensive, practical, and industry expert wise services.
